All Is Calm 03:04
all is calm, eyes looking at the sun bugs and birds, floating in a pond the trash man comes, the trash man goes, the trash man comes, the trash man goes, cotton blowing on a line, here come the architects, blending with the insects bending with the insects the trash man comes, the trash man goes, bees are buzzing, all in a row, all is calm...

can I tell you how afraid you make me feel? fall down in a park, drop out in the dark, can I tell you how I read the future? there we were bound by a lie, dragging an anchor on the stars. i'm sick, i'm sick, drowning in a sink, caught in rush hour shifting gears, paranoid of the sounds, over my shoulder I toss the coffee grounds. oh someone knows what it means, someones scrape it off my knees, chew on the lean blasting off the world, someone knows what it means, can I tell you how he read the future for me?
3.
i heard of your legendary metabolism, its always the same tooth ache, I hear the bells ringing. empty threats, empty street, i walked along till I was weak, down in the grass I saw you, in a dream coughing blood. we were asleep, falling down in the park... my legs were on fire, and it rained, catnap in the lawn. in your car, take me to retirement. take me to the moon. closer to the foreign bees. closer to a 401k in space. 401k in space. take me to the moon.
4.
If I had to fight for my life, I wouldn't last the night. barnacles on my legs and head, we've been sinking like we're made of lead. i'm made of noise. i'm made of noise. slow learner, we don't make sense. Talking to myself, talking to "ourself" the light bulb has taken over, glass curtains, blocking out the bugs. Show me your body. on the rooftop. box of wine, fishing line. my heart is off the hook box of wine, fishing line. all I did was read a book. show me your body. on the rooftop.
5.
one cigarette left, a movie alone, the sound of cars crashing, the world is ending. the summer is here. a new hope in swimming shorts. i'll be in the quarry. in the deep deep quarry. i never touched that bottle. illegally parked in the forest. your earache, your ears ache. picking up the garbage. the lonely dust brings ghosts. throws them out the window. back to dreams. back to dreams.
6.
telephone a wash in the storm the midwest is bodies and corn the neighbors have disappeared there's no one on the other line mama I've got to get to you papa I've got to get to you engines blaze in the night have you seen my family tree? the rivers are full of disease but swimming puts me at ease mama I've got to get to you papa I've got to get to you

the professor was researching another design vision of birds, a line, shooting towards the moon, shaped like a macaroon hallelujah when the weather turned to a matter of concern in terms of the life boat crying out in eighth notes the bookworm floated face down. hallelujah nothing to show for his life, we are here to save your life onward they sailed, beautiful canvas sail, color and shape detailed to a distant land, in the stars. in the stars. hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...
8.
I see the factories glowing in the atmosphere we created a future, after 3 light years. city of domes. built out of Styrofoam can you breathe in the factory? can you breathe in the hatchery? not into talking, about the weather. not into talking, about the past. building up a future, a plastic architecture. building up a future, a plastic architecture.

she's writing short stories on the front porch she's looking back at planet earth they all left her, the atomic age leaves most behind. some are in the desert, some are in the forest she's getting her haircut again. its so strange to be human. oh, it rains out at sea, oh it rains. and I want her to come home to see it with me. the cables are all buried, and we all live in Dolby, I want her to know somebody loves her. she's cutting her hair again, its so strange to be human. she's coming home, she's coming home to me, we'll probably meet on the sea, oh yeah. on the plains its so windy, but with her, we can sit indeed, its okay to be near you. its okay. she's cutting her hair again, its so strange to be human. we're caught in a war again, its another power outage.

we never saw it coming, the lonely blood stains running down the workers houses. we never saw it coming, education of glass boxes. hole in ocean. stale locomotion. the glass, the whites, blinded in the sunlight. all is calm. all is calm. all are looking at the sun. the glass, the whites, blinded in the sun light.
